About the Teacher
Korynne started playing the cello at age 5, and her first teaching experience was in eighth grade as a group class assistant for the Suzuki Music School in Indiana where she began her studies. Since 2010, she has taught private lessons in a variety of settings, including with the Intensive Community Program of the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras. She was also a Festival Fellow at the Bowdoin International Music Festival in Maine, an instructor at another string studio in Lincoln, an adjunct instructor at Southeast Community College, and has maintained a private studio of cello, violin, and piano students since 2013. Korynne Bolt's cello studio is located in the East High School area of Lincoln, NE. Students have access to weekly individual lessons, monthly group classes, and multiple performance opportunities each semester. Korynne's students have successfully auditioned for ensembles such as Youth Ensemble of Strings, Junior Youth Orchestra, Lincoln Youth Symphony, and SAIL Camp Honors Orchestra. Former students have won high school concerto competitions, earned a place in All-State, and gone on to major in music at UNL and other colleges.
